Veneers are most often applied over the front-most teeth to correct stained, cracked, chipped or crooked teeth. They are made of either porcelain or composite resins. Composite resin restorations are typically less expensive, last between five and seven years and are subject to staining. Porcelain veneers typically last well over 15 years and will not stain over time.
